While short dramas have gained popularity in Japanese, South Korean, and European markets, there remains potential in Central and West Asian markets. The primary challenge lies in translating and adapting the content to diverse Arab audiences, ensuring the storyline remains appealing while integrating Middle Eastern cultural elements.
Qujiang district has successfully launched over 60 short dramas internationally, attracting overseas production teams, including from Arab countries, to tailor content for their audiences.
Spanning 66,000 square meters, the Meigao Short Drama Super Factory offers nearly 200 diverse filming scenarios, supporting vertical screen productions with rapid scene transitions and simultaneous shoots by up to 30 crews.
