Zhoushan in East China's Zhejiang province wrapped up its participation in the 2026 ITB China in Shanghai from May 26 to 28, promoting its coastal landscapes and island tourism resources.
ITB China is one of the most influential business-to-business travel trade fairs in the Chinese tourism market. It connects global tourism suppliers with Chinese buyers and plays an important role in expanding both domestic and international tourism cooperation.
At the event, Zhoushan set up a themed booth featuring promotional materials and displays highlighting island destinations, marine culture, seafood cuisine, and water sports. The exhibition also presented locally inspired cultural and creative products, reflecting the city's efforts to develop its tourism and cultural industries.
Staff at the booth introduced Zhoushan's tourism resources to visitors and industry partners, including island scenic spots, fishing village traditions, and coastal leisure activities. The team also engaged in discussions with tourism operators from other regions to expand cooperation and explore partnership opportunities.
Interactive activities were organized on-site, including seafood tastings, cultural gift giveaways, and stamp-collection experiences. These activities offered visitors an immersive way to experience Zhoushan's coastal culture and attracted strong foot traffic throughout the exhibition.
