A group of 15 photographers from the United States, who participated in the Picturesque Zhejiang in US Photographers' Lens exchange event, visited Jinyun county in Lishui, East China's Zhejiang province, on June 10, photographing the region's scenic beauty.
The first stop was Zhutan Mountain located within the Xiandu scenic area, where the tranquil scene of a farmer leading an ox across Dingbu Bridge, with the majestic Dinghu Peak in the background, made for a stunning sight. Photographers hurried to capture this iconic scene.
William Joseph Tabor, a US photographer, expressed his admiration, saying, "Watching the farmer and his ox, I imagined how similar this scene might have looked a century or two ago."

The iconic scenery of the Xiandu scenic area — a farmer leading an ox across ancient stone bridges amid mist-shrouded peaks and emerald waters — has gained more recognition through its inclusion in English textbooks abroad. Photographs featuring this iconic scenery have previously won international photography awards.
The photographers later visited Yandang Study, a cultural space repurposed from an abandoned quarry, recording its unique blend of nature and artistry.
The day concluded with a visit to Tiecheng village, where they enjoyed local delicacies, further deepening their appreciation for the region's cultural richness.
After the visit, Tabor said he would share his experiences and photographs, hoping to showcase the area's beauty.
