As preparations are stepped up for the 15th China (Wenzhou) International Garden Expo, the landscape of Wenzhou Garden Expo Park is taking shape, transforming the ancient masterpiece A Panorama of Rivers and Mountains of Wenzhou into reality.

At the heart of the park lies Ouyue Garden, a 12,500-square-meter island landscape inspired by the Song-Yuan-dynasties (960-1368) painting. Using a design strategy of artistic abstraction, the garden has reimagined the poetic depiction of mountains and rivers through modern garden artistry.

Divided into east and west sections — symbolizing the spirit of the mountains and the charm of the sea — Ouyue Garden features six major scenic spots, blending Wenzhou's natural beauty with its cultural legacy. Modern technologies such as 3D printing have been used to reproduce traditional craftsmanship, echoing the philosophy of "ancient form, modern use".

The main structures are nearly complete, with interior decoration expected to be finished by the end of November and landscaping by December. When completed, visitors will be able to stroll through a living scroll of Wenzhou's thousand-year-old scenery.

Another highlight, Mountain Residence Wonderland, showcases classic Jiangnan-style (regions south of the Yangtze River) garden artistry and is also nearing completion.
