1st Shaoxing Integrated Circuit Industry Expo kicks off
The 2026 Shaoxing Integrated Circuit Industry Expo opened at Shaoxing Municipal Olympic Sports Center on May 29, running for three days. The event was co-organized by the Shaoxing Integrated Circuit Industry Association and the Shaoxing Chamber of International Commerce.

The exhibition covered an area of 10,000 square meters, featuring 400 standard booths and participation from nearly 150 companies, showcasing products spanning the entire integrated circuit industrial chain.
Alongside the exhibition, a series of events were held, including technical seminars, business negotiations, dedicated recruitment sessions, and industry science popularization activities. A special zone for industry-education integration was also set up to foster deep collaboration among industry, academia, research, and application.

Integrated circuits are a strategic leading industry in Shaoxing. In 2025, the local integrated circuit industrial chain achieved an output value of 90.6 billion yuan ($12.5 billion), marking a year-on-year growth of 11.7 percent. In the first quarter of 2026, output reached 20.2 billion yuan, with year-on-year growth of 9.0 percent. Shaoxing has now established a complete industrial chain encompassing design, manufacturing, packaging and testing, materials, and equipment. The city has attracted numerous leading enterprises and supporting companies, demonstrating significant strengths in industrial clustering.

According to officials, the expo aimed to showcase industry achievements, connect sector resources, and promote multi-party collaboration. Shaoxing's government will continue to enhance services and the overall industrial ecosystem, deepening cooperation in technology, projects, and talent to further drive the development of the integrated circuit industry.
