The Xi Shi Basketball Center in Zhuji, Zhejiang, officially opened its doors on July 29.
With a total investment of 1 billion yuan ($138 million) and seating for 18,000 spectators, the center is the largest single basketball venue in the province and ranks among the top 10 in the country. Its completion marks a significant addition to the sports and cultural landscape of the Yangtze River Delta region.
Covering an area of 88,000 square meters, the center includes the main basketball arena, a warm-up hall, and a public fitness area. It is equipped to host top-tier events such as FIBA competitions and NBA China Games.

According to preliminary estimates, the city is expected to host over 100 large-scale sports events, as well as numerous music festivals, concerts, and other performances.
The venue's operational team announced that the center is preparing to host the inter-city games of the Zhejiang City Basketball League and other high-profile events. Discussions are also ongoing for several popular concerts.
