Jinyun, a mountainous county in Southwest Zhejiang's Lishui county, is turning to its overseas Chinese network to open a global pathway, hosting an event that brought together local manufacturers and a delegation of more than 20 overseas Chinese merchants to explore trade and investment opportunities.

The delegation visited Zhejiang Tianxi Kitchen Appliances and Zhejiang Jinbang Sports Equipment, gaining firsthand insight into local manufacturing strength, where Wu Liangren, executive president of the Qingtian Association of Germany, said he was impressed and would promote Jinyun's products in Europe.

Eight local companies in smart home devices, short-distance transportation, and new energy pitched their products. Shi Wei, foreign trade manager of local enterprise Zhejiang Taotao Vehicles, expressed hope for cooperation with overseas Chinese merchants to expand business.

Representatives from the Lishui-Jinyun High-tech Zone and Jinyun’s investment promotion center also highlighted local advantages and the business-friendly environment.

Local manufacturers and the delegation exchanged views on overseas market expansion and supply chain collaboration, with Chen Wenguang, president of the Chile Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce, noting the event's strong business atmosphere and calling for more external connections to help Jinyun's brands go global.

Jinyun has focused on building bridges with the overseas Chinese community in recent years, fostering cultural identity, addressing their needs, and strengthening support systems to help manufacturers go global with confidence.
