Lishui crafts ZheBA trophies with Longquan celadon
The trophies and medals for the finals of the ZheBA, or Zhejiang Provincial City Basketball League, are crafted from Longquan celadon — a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage — by a team led by master artisans.

With less than seven months from design to delivery, the team integrated the province’s landscape aesthetics, the millennia-old culture of Longquan celadon and swords, and the spirit of basketball.
The championship trophy features a wave-like body holding a golden basketball, with a base inspired by Liangzhu jade cong. The medals uniquely combine celadon with metalwork, with the reverse side depicting game moments in relief.

In total, 5,595 pieces across 20 categories, including the FMVP trophy and various souvenirs, present a modern interpretation of traditional craftsmanship.
These designs transform celadon from museum artifacts into tangible sports memorabilia, serving as carriers of Zhejiang's stories and athletic spirit and igniting contemporary sports glory with ancient kiln fire.
