Spanish delegation discovers Qingtian's tourism potential
A Spanish delegation visited Qingtian county of Lishui, Zhejiang province, on Oct 21, for an in-depth inspection of local cultural and tourism resources.

The delegation explored several prominent sites to gain a deeper understanding of how traditional Chinese charm merges with European influences in the region, aiming to identify opportunities for inbound tourism cooperation.
In Longxian village, at the Qingtian Rice-Fish Culture System Museum, the delegation experienced the Rice-Fish Culture System, a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System with a history of over 1,200 years.

They showed a strong interest in this ecological and sustainable farming method. The visit highlighted the international appeal of Qingtian's eco-tourism resources and sparked ideas for developing study-tour products aimed at global markets.
They also visited the Qingtian Stone Carving Museum, a local cafe, and the Overseas Chinese History Exhibition Hall of Qingtian. These sites showcased Qingtian's traditional craftsmanship, fusion of Eastern and Western lifestyles, and century-old overseas Chinese history, presenting China's cultural stories to the world.

The president of Galician Tourism Association praised Qingtian's rural life, particularly Longxian village's preserved traditions. He said that he would promote Qingtian in Galicia, Spain.
The China-Spain Association for Exchange and Development will create promotional materials based on the visit and collaborate with Spanish travel agencies to develop tourism routes highlighting Qingtian's unique culture.
