Video: Lotus flower from ancient seed blossoms in Lishui

A lotus flower grown from a seed dating back to the Song Dynasty (960-1279) recently bloomed for the first time at the municipal museum of Lishui city, located in East China's Zhejiang province, after years of careful cultivation.
The seed was discovered in 2017 in the riverbed of the Qinhuai River in Nanjing – capital of Jiangsu province – and was planted at the museum in 2019. Let's check out the magical moment.
