Located in Wangjiangjing town, Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, Zhejiang Hongqi Intelligent Furniture's factory is bustling with activity as Spring Festival approaches.

The company, which started with electric sofas, has since expanded its product line to include a wide variety of furniture. Its products are now exported to Europe, the United States, Australia, and other regions. The recent surge in orders has led to a peak in shipments, with some days seeing more than 1,000 sets of sofas prepared for transport.

Hongqi recently secured a new Italian client with an order for high-end, health-focused smart furniture such as assistive chairs designed specifically for elderly people and pregnant women. These products can be customized to the client's specifications, including fabric, style, and motor type.

In addition to foreign trade, the company's domestic custom-made furniture business has also entered its busy season. Since October last year, local deliveries of custom home furniture have increased, with products like electric sofas and dining tables proving particularly popular.

Looking ahead, the company plans to attend exhibitions in Southeast Asia and the United Kingdom after Spring Festival, aiming to expand its global reach and introduce Jiaxing-made furniture to more international markets.
