Quzhou attracts growing foreign investment
Zhejiang Ruwang Food and Purolite (Zhejiang) Technology, located in the Quzhou Intelligent Manufacturing New City in Quzhou, Zhejiang province, have passed on-site verification and document review by Zhejiang's Department of Commerce, becoming the first companies in the city to receive full provincial-level policy subsidies for foreign-invested enterprises.
The number of foreign-invested enterprises and the actual utilization of foreign capital in the Quzhou Intelligent Manufacturing New City have steadily increased in recent years, with the latter reaching $334 million in 2025, marking a year-on-year growth rate of 363 percent.

In February 2025, the Quzhou Intelligent Manufacturing New City established its Foreign Investment Service Center to address the needs of foreign-invested enterprises. The center has since made significant efforts in areas such as registration, government-enterprise communication, and policy implementation.
"Zhejiang's administrative efficiency is impressive, and Quzhou has left a deep impression on me," said a representative from Purolite (Zhejiang) Technology, expressing gratitude for the attentive service provided by the Foreign Investment Service Center during the policy subsidy application process.
"The speed of provincial- and municipal-level policy subsidy applications and fulfillment has reinforced our confidence in Quzhou's favorable business environment," said a representative from Zhejiang Ruwang Food.
