The Hangzhou-Quzhou High-Speed Railway, connecting the cities of Hangzhou and Quzhou in East China's Zhejiang province, is expected to be ready for operation by the end of December.

Railway authorities are steadily advancing preparations, including equipment testing and personnel training, to ensure a smooth launch.

The Hangzhou-Quzhou High-Speed Railway stretches some 131 kilometers in Zhejiang, passing through Hangzhou's Jiande county-level city and Quzhou's Longyou county, Kecheng district, and Jiangshan county-level city.

With a designed speed of up to 350 kilometers per hour, the new line serves six stations including the newly built Jiande South, Longyou North, and Quzhou West stations. The route features an impressive 78.7 percent bridge-tunnel ratio, reflecting significant engineering achievements.

As a vital component of the Yangtze River Delta's regional transport network, the Hangzhou-Quzhou High-Speed Railway will serve as an important auxiliary route, significantly enhancing regional connectivity and supporting Zhejiang's common prosperity demonstration zone development.

Trains will connect with the Hangzhou-Huangshan and Huzhou-Hangzhou high-speed railways, allowing a direct route to Hangzhou West Station. The travel time from Quzhou to Hangzhou will be reduced to approximately 40 minutes.

For tourists, the railway will link natural and cultural sites like Jianglang Mountain and Longyou Caves in Quzhou with attractions such as Hangzhou's West Lake and Huangshan's Huangshan Mountain.
