Wutong Temple in Jiuhua village is the only temple in China that honors the God of Spring. On the beginning of spring, one of the 24 solar terms, locals put on a sacrificial ceremony to worship the God of Spring.
The 24 solar terms was listed on UNESCO’s Masterpieces of the Intangible Heritage of Humanity in 2016.
