Yang Jizhou

Yang Jizhou (1522—1620) was a doctor that excelled at acupuncture of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Yang was devoted to practicing medicine for more than 40 years and thus grained rich clinical experience. He also summarized previous studies on acupuncture and wrote a book titled Acupuncture Accomplishment which represented the full development of acupuncture in China.
