Outdoor equipment manufacturers in Lishui, Zhejiang province, are capitalizing on the spring market, with rising temperatures bringing a surge in camping and cycling. Operating at full capacity, the industry is experiencing sustained growth in both domestic and international orders.

Wang Lei, chairman of Zhejiang Feima Outdoor Products in Qingtian county, said domestic orders have arrived earlier than usual this year, with sales expected to increase three to five times during the summer.

Founded in 2020, the company initially focused on exports but has since steadily expanded both domestic and international markets while strengthening its e-commerce team.

Zhejiang Jiawo Tourist Products, also based in Qingtian, specializes in outdoor leisure furniture, with its products, including chairs and folding beds, exported to markets such as the United States, the European Union, and Australia.

Chen Jinhui, the company's production material control manager, said orders have been scheduled until early May, with five assembly lines operating at full capacity.

In addition to offline sales, some local companies are actively pursuing e-commerce channels. Beishanlang Outdoor Products in Jinyun county, which has developed a range of camping items, has listed over 30 categories of products on Douyin, with some items selling more than 600,000 units.

A company representative of Beishanlang said the brand has maintained a top 10 position in Douyin's outdoor category through livestreaming and content marketing.
