According to Shaoxing Rail Transit Group, from June 30 to July 6, the first week of operation for the northern section of Shaoxing Metro Line 1's branch line, the entire Line 1 recorded a cumulative ridership exceeding 770,200 passengers.

This is a daily average increase of 5.52 percent compared to pre-opening figures, setting a new record for daily passenger flow. Shaoxing North Railway Station, a key hub for high-speed rail transfers, saw its highest daily entry and exit volume reach approximately 10,500 passengers.

On June 30, the northern section of Line 1's branch line began initial operation. This section offers quick and convenient transfer integration with the Shaoxing North Railway Station TOD hub, directly connecting the metro with the high-speed rail network.

Following the complete opening of the line, Shaoxing Jingyue Metro deployed over 80 additional volunteers at key stations like Shaoxing North Railway Station, Exhibition and Convention Center Station, and Huangjiu Town Station.

These volunteers assist passengers with ticket purchases, transfers, and maintaining order. In the first week alone, they received 15 passenger commendations and helped recover 12 lost items.

Additionally, five themed promotional activities engaged passengers: Metro Knowledge Lectures, Passenger Messages, Cultural and Creative Product Sales, Stamp Collection, and Safety Culture Zone.

The Safety Zone at Exhibition and Convention Center Station, featuring VR emergency drills, fire hydrant usage, and safety equipment demonstrations, was particularly popular with families and young passengers.
